Having realised that many of us in the archaeological community will have our hands full through the duration of the digging season, the Organisational Committee for TRAC 2013 at King’s College London has decided to extend the deadline for Panel Submissions to September 21st. We hope this gives everyone who has interest in proposing a panel idea the time they need to get their bid in. We are interested in panels on any of the various aspects of current theory and practice in the field of Roman archaeology, particularly those of a cutting edge or controversial nature. Proposals both for panels with pre-agreed speakers as well as completely open panels are happily accepted and will be reviewed with equal enthusiasm. Proposals should be sent to the email address below and should comprise an abstract (max. 250 words) plus the names and contact details of the proposer(s), as well as those of any individual proposed speakers.
Please continue to visit our website on a regular basis for future updates, as we plan to have many exciting announcements in the coming days and weeks. Please feel free to drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions. We look forward to reviewing all of your thought-provoking proposals and hope to provide you with a fun and intellectually stimulating conference roster that meets the very high bar that has been established for TRAC.
The Theoretical Roman Archaeology Conference will be held at King’s College London on 5-6 April 2013. Panel submissions will be due by 31 August 2012, and paper and poster deadlines will be announced shortly.
